Orange Juice | Mango | Lemon Candy | Tropical Fruit | Vivid & Intense
We named this coffee The Slap for a reason. Natural-processed Guji coffees can be bright, but this lot is something else: orange juice intensity, mango sweetness, and a lemon-candy brightness that hits immediately and doesn’t apologise. If you want subtlety, this is not the coffee for you. If you want to understand why people obsess over Ethiopian naturals, start here.

The Story
Gomoro sits in the Guji Zone — the highland Ethiopian territory that produces some of the most sought-after natural-processed coffees in the world. Sun-drying whole cherry concentrates the fruit sugars and aromatic compounds that give Guji naturals their distinctive intensity. Grade 1 status indicates the highest quality of sorting and processing.
This lot delivers everything that designation promises. Clean, vivid, and very, very fruity. The orange juice note is not a subtle suggestion; it’s a leading character. Mango amplifies the tropical quality; lemon-candy sweetness runs underneath both.
In the Cup
As espresso: Orange juice and mango hit immediately — vivid tropical fruit in a concentrated shot. Lemon-candy sweetness amplifies both. Direct and intense.
Long black: Opens into something more complex as it cools. Citrus peel and a persistent tropical sweetness emerge alongside the fruit.
