Producer
Jairo Arcila, a Colombian third-generation coffee producer, began his career as a Mill Manager for Colombia's second-largest exporter. In 1987, Jairo purchased his first coffee estate, Finca La Esmeralda, and began producing coffee full-time. He eventually bought five more farms, one of which being Santa Monica, where this coffee is cultivated. His sons, who are coffee experts, have substantially improved his coffee harvesting, sorting, and processing. They have also assisted him in the cultivation of unusual types like as Pink Bourbon, Java, Papayo, and Gesha.
