Fuji Apple | Almond Praline | Floral Honey | Caramel | Sweet & Rounded
The espresso sibling to our Caxambu handbrew — same farm, same music, different roast. Carmem’s wooden homogenising vats, her record player in the corner, and six days of Brazilian beat all-niters produce a coffee that, at medium-light espresso roast, trades the handbrew’s delicate florals for more sweetness and body: almond praline, floral honey, and caramel.

The Story
That a single farm expresses itself so differently at two roast levels says something about the quality of the raw material. The handbrew version is delicate and floral; this espresso roast is rounded and sweet. Both are distinctly Caxambu.
Carmem’s careful management of every stage from fermentation to drying — and, apparently, the overnight music — is what makes this consistency possible. It’s one of the most reliable lots we work with, and consistently good.
In the Cup
Fuji apple sweetness opens the cup, moving into almond praline and floral honey. Caramel in the finish. As an espresso, smooth and sweet. With milk, it rounds further into something deeply satisfying.
