A blend of Brazilian on the bass line and Ethiopian for riffing over the top and you've got Purple Haze, a blend capable of making decent coffee for both handbrew and espresso. This omni-blend is crafted for versatility, making it a good choice for people who want one coffee to do cover most brewing methods. Whether you're seeking a balanced morning cup or a psychedelic espresso shot, Purple Haze delivers flavours that come out in either brewing style.
Flavour Notes
Handbrew: Black tea, purple grapes, sweet corn, orange pulp. This is a medium-light roast that manages to come through milk, but it doesn't punch—it gives caramel coffee notes without being overpowering.
Espresso: Tart orange, dried red dates, cooling to treacle. Initially bright and acidic, it balances with red dates and treacle richness. Paired with milk, it gives light-roasted nuts and caramel undertones.
NB. If you're looking for a coffee that really punches through milk, we recommend going for one of these coffees.
Why You Should Buy
• Blend of bass and treble: By blending the Brazil bass and the fruitier Ethiopian treble, this coffee delivers both warm nutty, caramel and high fruity flavours.
• Heavier handbrew: We roasted these coffees medium-light to add some bass and caramel to your brew.
• Milky-milky: If you like milky coffee with subtle coffee flavour, this is a really good one for you.
