Step into the world of Brazil Fazenda Passeio Espresso, where every bean is the product of passion, hard work, and a bit of cheeky ingenuity. Adolfo Henrique, known in Brazil's speciality circles as "O Professor", has dedicated his life to cultivating rare and unique coffee varietals. With a knack for cross-pollinating these special strains, Adolfo has perfected the art of creating coffees that are as bold and beautiful as the Brazilian landscape from which they come. His devotion to quality is evident in the expensive equipment on his farm, a testament to his love for the craft — even if it meant driving a beaten-up Fiat Uno that required more pushing than driving.

Drinking Notes

Indulge in a coffee experience that dances between vibrant and creamy. The first sip dazzles with the sweetness of maraschino cherry, delivering a bright, candied pop that lingers on your palate. As the flavour deepens, the creamy richness of ciku unfolds, blending luscious notes of pear and caramel. To finish, the buttery goodness of a classic French financier wraps around your senses, leaving a delicate, almond-infused warmth that feels like home.

Features

  • Single-Origin Craftsmanship: From Adolfo Henrique’s beloved Fazenda Passeio, this espresso is the product of years of research (and stealthing smuggling of coffee beans from Kenya to Brazil).
  • Espresso Perfection: Ideal for those who enjoy bold, rich espresso with layers of complexity and warmth.
  • Tasting Notes: Bright maraschino cherry, creamy ciku with pear and caramel, and a buttery almond finish reminiscent of a French financier.
  • A Labour of Passion: The story of this coffee is a tale of dedication—of one man’s pursuit of the perfect cup, reflected in every carefully cultivated bean.

Label story

Why 'Uno Push'? In 2013, when artisan coffee aficionados Joey Mah and Michael Wilson popped by Adolfo's farm, they were gobsmacked by his fermenting, milling, and drying facilities. It was clear Adolfo had funnelled every spare Brazilian real into perfecting his coffee's quality. Meanwhile, his house, wardrobe, and especially his car seemed to have been overlooked. Joey and Michael were incredibly impressed with Adolfo's beaten-up Fiat Uno and its ability to bounce up washed-out dirt tracks and steep inclines. They were even more amused when they found themselves pushing the car more often than riding in it.

Why You Should Buy

The Brazil Fazenda Passeio Espresso offers more than just a delightful coffee — it’s the product of Adolfo Henrique’s relentless pursuit of quality that brings forth a cup that embodies hard work, ingenuity, and the beautiful landscape of Fazenda Passeio.
