Half-Brazilian foundation, half-Ethiopian fire — and designed to work with both a pourover kettle and a portafilter. Purple Haze is the rare blend that actually justifies the word “omni”: the Patrimônio das Nuvens washed Brazilian lays down body and caramel structure; the Gomoro Guji natural Ethiopian brings vivid fruit and florals over the top. One bag, every brew method.

The Story
The name is honest — Purple Haze has a psychedelic quality, particularly as an espresso: initially tart and bright, then it shifts register. Dried red dates and treacle emerge as the shot rests; with milk, the fruit steps back and caramel and light nuts come forward.
As a handbrew it's cleaner and brighter: purple grapes and black tea, with orange pulp warmth in the mid-palate. The Brazilian component grounds and the Ethiopian lifts. Most omni-blends sacrifice something to be versatile. This one earned the claim.
In the Cup
Handbrew: Black tea and purple grapes, with sweet corn sweetness and orange pulp warmth. Medium-light body; comes through milk gently without overpowering.
Espresso: Tart orange and brightness first; dried red dates and treacle as it cools. With milk: light-roasted nuts, caramel, and a warm fruit undercurrent.
