With over two decades of experience in the coffee industry, Luz Helena’s journey began in Armenia, Quindío, inspired by — and possibly in competition with — her husband, the coffee expert Jairo Arcila. Today, she manages Finca Maracay, an 8-hectare farm known for its high-quality coffee, situated at 1,450 meters above sea level. Luz Helena’s meticulous attention to detail ensures that each coffee cherry is harvested at peak ripeness, fermented for 30 hours underwater, and dried with care, resulting in a truly exceptional coffee.
