The Story
Poços de Caldas sits in a collapsed volcanic caldera — a geologically unusual growing environment producing coffee with distinctive mineral depth and clean sweetness. The farms contributing to this lot are processed at a single facility using multi-pass optical sorting and rigorous cupping to eliminate defects at a level rare in commercial Brazilian production.
The result is a coffee that performs like it costs more than it does. The Redeemer's promise is consistency: the same clean, well-sorted natural, available year-round, at a price that reflects the original purchase rather than current market movements.
In the Cup
Black: Treacle and malt lead — warm, dark, and grounding. Orange provides a counterpoint, keeping the cup lively without being bright. Dark caramel in the finish.
With milk: Caramel and chocolate smooth further. Clean and unfussy — the definition of a reliable daily espresso.
